American Express card company threatened me to sign a form that will give American Express authority to get my TA- Transcript form IRS directly. I always file joint tax return. Tax transcripts also show the Social security information of my family that I do not want to provide social security of my wife and of my children to American express. My family are not the account holder of American Express credit cards. Please advise American Express to verify my income through my - / pay stubs, but not through Tax transcripts. American Express has sent me the email ( see below ) to sign the form -. I am reluctant to provide unnecessary information of my wife and my children. I want to also notify that my whole record has been hacked as per OPM notification. American Express has threatened me if they do not get the signed - by - -, 2015, they will close my credit cards and that will badly affect my credit report ( negatively ). In future, I will not be able to get a job because of such negative entries in my credit report. I pay the credit cards amount due on time.
