CitiFinancial is reporting to - that I owe them $7100.00 from an installment loan that supposedly went into collections back in 2011. For well over a year, I have been trying to contact them to resolve this loan, but they continuously give me no avenue for resolution. I filed a complaint with your office back in - of this year asking for your help in getting CitiFinancial to speak with me about resolving this debt. We received a response from Citi regarding who to contact to get this matter resolved, but 6 months later, we are no closer to getting this matter resolved. Despite countless attempts to contact Citi, I either get no response or notification that they do not have that account number on file. Quite simply put, CitiFinancial is holding my credit report hostage. They are reporting an unresolved collection account on my credit report, and simultaneously providing no avenue for resolution. I am going to be uploading - documents. The first is a snap-shot of how CitiFinancial is reporting this debt to - The - is the response I received through your office from our - complaint. The third is the latest response I received from Citi. Once again, they are back to stating that they have no record of the account, or can find no record of the account with the account numbers THEY are providing.
