Unable to get credit report/credit score Problem getting my free annual report New Jersey

I went online at - ( - ) to request a credit report from Trans Union. All went well until I was asked what county I lived in in -. It did not have -, which is correct, but contained -. I indicate 'none of the above '. I was denied a Trans Union Credit Report online. Previously, I had a bad experience with identity theft/credit card fraud dating to -. - fraudulently filed credit application ( possibly - - ) used a bogus -, NY address. My complaint is how can I correct misinformation, if it is used to deny my access to a credit report that provides a procedure to correct misinformation. I have pending a Trans Union Report by mail - up to 15 days turnaround. I called - ( from the - website ) to make the arrangement. They did not ask confirmation questions as the website. The reason I requested the report is that - - website indicated that there was a " hard pull '' for a report from Trans Union. So, I requested a credit report.
