- added an extended 7 year fraud alert on my credit file. In their letter, - wrote it would contact TransUnion about the extended fraud alert. I did not receive a notification from TransUnion. Thus, I faxed the letter from - to TransUnion. Again, I received no response on the matter from TransUnion.
