Non-federal student loan Dealing with my lender or servicer Trouble with how payments are handled Maine

Navient would not allow me to make a payment toward my principle balance. I had to talk to - levels of supervisors before someone would " allow me to make an exception '' and make a payment toward the current interest and whatever was left over would be made toward the principle. My regularly scheduled payment was not due for another two weeks. I am very unhappy that they would n't allow a payment directly toward the principle ONLY.
