Discover Financial Services has an 10 % Cashback Bonus when discover card is used to pay using - for in-store purchases. When I tried to use the eligible card at an - - - store, the charge got declined. When I called Discover customer service, they advised me to use physical card instead and then call customer service to get the 10 % Cashback bonus. I did just that! However, later when I called them they to refused to honor the promise and only offered - points as a courtesy ( equivalent of $10.00 ). The 10 % cashback bonus on that purchase would have been $40.00 dollars.
