Auto loan through Santander Consumer USA. Loan # - vehicle VIN # - Subaru vehicle. We arranged for the vehicle to be voluntary repossessed by the lender -/-/-. After repossession we received a - -/-/- in the amount of $5100.00 added to our -/-/- income reason as " cancellation of debt ''. This amount was added to our -/-/- income and we have paid additional tax to the IRS for this. Recently we received a form - -/-/- for an additional amount of $4400.00 being added to our -/-/- income reason " cancellation of debt '' FOR THE SAME LOAN AND THE SAME VIN #!!!!! We have already paid additional income tax on this loan. We should not be charged again for the SAME LOAN AND SAME VEHICLE!!!!
