I purchased auto insurance with a new insurance company prior to the next payment due, -/-/-, on the last month of an existing auto insurance policy. I received a past due notice from - and sent them documentation proving I was insured with another insurance company. Credit Collection Services was assigned my account -, I contacted them and described that I had sent - documentation proving I had other insurance. Credit Collection Services, CCS asked me to send them the same documentation, which I did. CCS sent a letter stating - would not accept the documentation. I received a Status Update, dated -/-/-, copy attached, and another letter last Friday, dated -/-/- copy attached, offering a 50 % settlement opportunity. I am seeking your assistance in ceasing this collection attempt by CCS on a debt I do not owe. I have attached a copy verifying coverage prior to the last payment due.
