I got a letter a year ago from Rocky Mountain Recovery for a dental collection from a dental office I had never been to or even heard of. I called them and told them there was a relative of mine also named - - who lived in -, Wyoming. They said they would note that. I asked where they got my address and they said they probably " googled it ''. I never heard from them again, but on - -, 2015 I applied for a mortgage loan and my banker pulled my credit and there is a judgment from - County Court and an open collection from Rocky Mountain Recovery reported on MY credit. This is not my debt and I already told them that. I went to their office and they told me they would delete my information, but they were n't sure if that would delete the judgment that is on my credit report. I am extremely frustrated and have spent a lot of time trying to dispute online and get to the bottom of why this happened. I feel like the should have done something other than " google '' my name in order to receive information.
