I recently made an inter-state move -. A few weeks after I l moved into my new apartment, I received a letter requesting that I pay a balance to " Portfolio Recovery Associates '' for a credit owed on - - credit card. I have never had a - - -, and the letter was addressed to somebody with my surname but the wrong first name. I ignored the issue figuring it was a scam. I just received the second letter from the same company, this time claiming to be owed a debt on - - Credit Card. I do own such a card but have no outstanding debt.
