This debt went to collections, to the firm Patenaude & Felix, A.P.C. They sent me a judgement balance for $14000.00. This was paid via wage garnishment. After the garnishment was complete and the judgement balance paid, I received another letter stating that the judgement balance for the same case number was now $1700.00. I asked for documentation for that was for and was verbally told that it was interest. I asked for documentation of the interest rate etc.. and was told that none would be provided.
