-Regional Finance ( RF ) is placing a " Forced Placed Insurance ( FPI ) '' charge on - - customers, including myself, according to - the total - employees that I spoke with. Basically, I had liability & uninsured motorist insurance on the car from day one. I was hit with this ( FPI ) in the sum of $1800.00, which was broken down into payments. FYI - - person told me monthly, another person told me quarterly. They began charging me from - forward. After getting in contact with me in -, I upgrade my policy to full coverage as of - -, 2015. Regional Finance 's out source company -, credited Regional Finance back $780.00. Regional Finance however is still charging me $ -. even though I am in compliance with full coverage insurance. In a follow up conversation with Regional Finance, after talking with -, a new number and explanation was submitted that still does not make sense. According to a supervising representative of the company, - charged them $1700.00, plus - - - applied a one-time interest fee of $150.00. The $1700.00 was supposed to be applied for -. According the supervisor, the $780.00 credit


mos. I am currently paying MY full coverage and the - that added to my account. I have no problem paying for the covered months but if they have been reimbursed why am I being forced to pay for 12 months. Again, even the multiple employees that I spoke with could not make sense of this. I am asking the BCFP to investigate these insurance companies for these types of practices. I believe this is a bad and unfair business practice financially effecting millions of Americans.
