Southwest Credit offered a settlement option which was fulfilled but never informed - - - that the account was settled in full. I spoke with SW - and they offered me a settlement of - which was spilt into - payments of -. First payment was taken out of my account on - and the other was taken - -. The supervisor I spoke with advised that I would get a paid in full letter after the second payment. An agent called me a couple days after the second and final payment and stated that I still owed a balance of -. I then explained to that agent that I had already settled in full. He said the account was n't closed correctly and he would close the account correctly and that I would get a paid in full letter. I never got a paid in full letter, but I id see that it was credit reported as - and zero balance. Then on October, - I got a call from a different collection agency saying I owe a balance of - and I never settled in full. I called Southwest Credit back and they said for the third time that they are sending a paid in full statement. I also called - - - and they stated that Southwest Credit NEVER reported the payments nor did they report that the account was settled. It was still showed as an open account.
