Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine Arizona

On or about - -, 2015 I received a call and I believe that they identified themselves as debt collectors. They did not say who they were attempting to collect the debt from and asked me to provide an address or my Social Security Number. I found this quite disturbing and improper. I asked them who they were attempting to collect the debt from and they did not have an answer for that. I said that the phone number has been mine for a few years so you might be looking for someone else. I asked what company she was from and she stated Van Ru Credit Corporation. I see that it is likely that there are multiple complaints against this company on the internet ; my negative assumption is that they are as corrupt as the rest of the State of Illinois that they reside in. It would be greatly appreciated if you could find out if they are cold calling for phishing purposes or other fraudulent schemes. Thank you very much.
