I was unexpectedly hospitalized in - of 2015. While I work and have medical insurance, I have a - child with limited income. I submitted a financial assistance packet for review to the medical billing office of - - - - for the hospitalization bill. It was reviewed, accepted and the account was closed and settled in full. During the process - - - - had sent the bill to Collection Consultants of California, and retracted it the same day. I have called Collection Consultants of California and notified them that the account was settled in full. I have also provided CCC with proof of this via fax ( with confirmation ) of my notice of account settlement letter from - - - -. - - - - has called them twice on my behalf in an order to close out the account. Collection Consultants of California has continued to harass me regarding the debt, they have not properly closed the account although it was settled in full. They have now sent the debt to my credit report to negativity affect my credit. They are unlawfully harassing me, and will not remove the account from their files although it was paid in full. Please help me.
