Installment loan Managing the loan or lease Louisiana
I have been a customer of Delta Financial Services, - -, -, LA - since -/-/-. I have paid on my account, on time, every month up until this year, -/-/-. Every month the office called me on or around the - of the month and I 've approved to process the payment over the phone and requested a receipt be sent to me by mail. The prior 3 months have been a financial challenge for me, and even thought they were late, I did manage to get my payments paid. They were never 30 days past due ... .never. My last payment was due -/-/-. I had not paid it yet nor had I spoken with them to give approval to pay. I pulled up my bank account on -/-/- and noticed that Delta Financial had processed my last payment in the amount of $64.00 -/-/-, without my approval. This is exactly 10 days past my due date -/-/-. I am very disappointed in how this company has treated me. My account was not in a collection status. It was not 30 past due. What can be done about this? I see now allowing a company to have access to your account is not so much as convenient for the consumer but for them as well. When they want their money they will just take it. This should be against the law to do. This is not the only place I will be filing a complaint against this company.
