TransUnion Credit Reporting Complaint

Credit monitoring or identity protection account terms and changes

TransUnion Credit reporting department,

Credit monitoring or identity protection Account terms and changes Virginia

A few months ago I signed up with Transunion for what was represented as service for credit monitoring and credit score tracking. It was promoted as costing $1.00. Subsequently I learned that there was a monthly charge of $17.00. I became aware of the charge in the last two months but it has been billed to my card for the last 5 months, according to TransUnion. On - -, 2015, I called and cancelled the service. When I was waiting to speak with a supervisor about getting a refund on charges billed, Transunion ended the call. I believe TransUnion is engaging in an unfair, deceptive, and possibly abusive practice. I do not recall seeing any disclosures about the monthly charge. I would not have signed up if I understood there were any charges besides the $1.00 fee - even after a trial period. I am asking for the CFPB to help get my money back and to get Transunion to stop this practice.
