Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Pennsylvania

I am a recent college graduate from the University - - in - Pennsylvania - one of the first in my family ). However, due to financial difficulties after attempting to pay completely out of pocket I took out loans through - - ( now Navient ), totaling roughly 60,000 over 3 years with my grandfather as a cosigner. During college I paid all interest to keep the loan as low as possible after I gradtuated. When initially getting the loans they were to be paid over a course of about 20 years. However, once I received my first statement after graduation, I saw that the amount due was just under $800.00, something that was impossible for me to afford. I attempted calling Navient to inquire as to why the loan was so high, and they informed me that my loan had been changed to an 8 year loan and neither I nor my cosigner were informed of this change. Due to this, I forebore my first payment. Over the next several months, I attempted to figure this out with Navient, from which came nothing but a series of false information, Navient hanging up on me mid-call several times, and three more forebearances ( as well as misinformation regarding the forebearances ), with no results. All I want to do is make my payments, but I can not, nor can my cosigner afford the payment.
