I have sent - letters via USPS certified mail at the address listed for the collection agency Williams & Fudge out of South Carolina. The letters detailed my dispute of the debt they were trying to collect in the amount of $13000.00. I do not owe this debt and they have failed to provide me with any proof or verification that this debt is mine. They are, however, newly reporting this debt to my credit report. I am unsure if it is reporting with -, but I know it is reporting with - and -. I have just mailed the collection company yet another certified mail letter requesting the debt be removed from my credit because they have failed to verify the debt to me and are in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I will pursue legal action in small claims court if they choose not to remove this debt which is being reported illegally.
