My husband had been contacted on -/-/- and -/-/- in which a message was left on his phone for me ( - - ) to call - at Universal Recovery Corporation. On Monday -/-/- I received a letter that I owe $300.00 for a $75.00 returned check. On -/-/2015 - called my husband again but this time he answered and when he told her I was unavailable she continued to tell him about the money I owed, threatening a lawsuit and to ruin our credit, and then she brought up our -/-/- bankruptcy. When my husband told her that he did n't think it was legal to be talking to him about my debt she became hostile and said it 's legal in California ''. I have tried to resolve this debt, but any time I ask a question she just raises her voice and says I have to pay the full amount, its the law. The first contact received was on -/-/-, so I do n't see how I can owe 3 times the delinquent amount.
