I am writing to complain about the interest rate on my Chase - card. It is currently at 28.24 %. This is high for a person who is a long term customer, pays regularly and has good credit. I am asking that you lower the rate. I contacted your customer service group and spoke with - on -. They could not help me. As a matter of fact all of the customer service people seemed amused by my request. This is a usurious interest rate. It is unacceptable that the rate is so high with the prime rate being at historic lows. I understand that you need to cover your costs and make a profit. But this is unacceptable.
