I received a collection bill from Credence excellence beyond belief -/-/2015 on behalf of - - -. I called Credence because I had never heard of either and wanted to know what this was about. Upon speaking to agent I was informed this was a medical debit for a - - visit for - - -. I informed them I did n't know this person and he kept asking if he was my child. I told the person no and asked how they got my name and address and how could someone go to hospital and use name without I.D . He also informed me this bill was acquired at - - and they could not give me anymore information since I was not the person seen in hospital because of HIPA laws. I told him I had never received a bill from Research and found it laughable that they would quote HIPA and wanted me to pay a bill. After going round and round he finally apologized when I told him I would contact - - and said no further contact would be made. Well yesterday I get another bill for same thing but a yellow slip accompanied the bill stating they made a mistake with first settlement offer and this was a corrected - and told me to disregard letter dated - -, 2015. These people are crooks and a joke. I contacted Research Medical the next day after I spoke with Credence and was told by a person in billing that they never heard of Credence nor - and that they have a list of collection agencies they use, and that there is no debt I owe.
