Debt from CitiFinancial - now One Main Financial ) that was Canceled and discharged by them because of their reorganization is listed incorrectly on my credit reports as a Charge off seriously affecting my credit and my score We had a balance of around $4500.00 when all the Citifinancials closed around us. They stopped sending statements nor made any attempt to collect this loan and we had no idea even where to contact them, For years they made no contact of collection attempts and then in 2014 canceled the debt ... Now they are listing it as a charge off. We were willing to pay its THEIR fault as they stopped sending us statements nor made any attempt to collect this loan when they collapsed. I have tried to resolve this by filing complaints about the credit reporting companies. They all say they have verified the debt. On my contact to the former citifinancil I was run around to - different people who hung up on my twice and could not even find the account. I made repeated request to talk to a supervisor but was just passed on to another person or just hung up on
