JPMorgan Chase Credit Card Complaint

Other

JPMorgan Chase Credit card department,

Washington

I have an - credit card sponsored by Chase Bank. It 's the Chase - card. - and Chase are terminating their relationship on -/-/15 and now Chase is telling me they are going to convert my Chase - card into their Chase Freedom credit card without my permission. I do not want to be transferred into a Chase Freedom card. I am telling Chase not to convert me into a Chase Freedom card but they tell me I have no choice other than to shut the Chase - card down now instead. The problem with that is that the agreement I signed with - let me earn - travel points by using the Chase - card BUT I CAN ONLY KEEP THOSE POINTS SO LONG AS I MYSELF DO N'T CLOSE THE - CARD DOWN. So I ca n't shut the - Chase card down without losing my earned - points. I have told Chase I want them to just allow my - credit account to fade into nothing without me shutting it down because if Chase lets my card fade away ( on -/-/15 ) then that will be Chase killing my card instead of me killing it

points. Chase will end my - Chase card but Chase intends to convert my Chase - account into a Chase Freedom account without my permission and against my will. They are imposing a new credit card on me - the Chase Freedom card. They say they have the right to change the terms of the card per the cardmember agreement but they are not simply changing the terms. They are forcing me into an entirely new credit card against my wishes. I want them to let my Chase/- card fade out of existence when - and Chase end their relationship but I do not want to actually close the - Chase account myself. I also do not want Chase to force me into their Chase Freedom card without my permission and against my wishes. You see, I plan to apply for a Chase Freedom card on my own in the near future and if I do that then I would get a signing bonus of a 15 month ZERO percent interest rate for the first 15 months PLUS $100.00 for spending $500.00 in the first 3 months, but I only get that if I apply for the card on my own. If, on the other hand, they forcefully convert me into the Chase Freedom card ( from the Chase - card ) then I do not get that ZERO percent for 15 months and I do not get the $100.00 for spending $500.00 in the first 3 months I have the Chase Freedom card. They 're basically forcing me into a card that I plan to apply for later, but if they let me apply for the card later instead then I get a nice bonus ( 15 month ZERO percent interest & $100.00 cash for spending at least $500.00 in the first 3 months ) and if they get away with forcing me into the card instead then I wo n't get that bonus. They 're trying to rip me off. - -
