JPMorgan Chase Debt Collection Complaint

Credit card Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed debt is not mine

JPMorgan Chase Debt collection department,

Credit card Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine Pennsylvania

- - - sued me for a debt that was not mine. They said it was from a credit card I had in -/-/- and they were garnishing my wages -/-/- - a court order I knew nothing about because they sent the summons to an address I had n't lived at since -/-/-. I tried to call them to let them know and they were extremely rude. I found an old credit report filed away that said I had that card and it was opened the same day as the one I was sued for but the account numbers did not match up. I called - and they said it was my debt and did not want to hear what I had to say and when I asked if they could give me proof they said the original debt collector ( Chase ) had the info. When I called Chase they asked me for the account number and my SS # and told me it did not match the account and I would have to call the 3rd party debt buyer. When I called - back with the findings they told me that they owned the debt and Chase

least tell me the account was not mine. I live in - and was sued in - courts because that is where I lived when the debt had originally occurred so I had to miss multiple days of work and try to figure it out and get help. I was able to get it vacated because I had prof that I did not live at the address the summons was sent to. They were ordered to pay me back all garnished wages. They did pay me back everything but $5.00 which I was tired of fighting with them and do not have the time to fight for it. I do have all documents needed to prove my case. During all of this I did keep calling them to see if they would listen and some were OK to me and others were down right rude. I actually had a guy that said I do n't pay my bills and he pulled up my credit profile and was naming off medical bills that were past due, told me I was cunning, and he did n't have time to talk to me because he had to talk to people that were actually willing to pay their bills.
