I am trying to make good on my payment with Universal Recovery -, and I called them to pay the debt but I requested that I would like to make good on my debt IF, they would take my debt off, and clear my account so that it does not show up on my credit report anymore. Universal - told me that they would not be willing to guarantee that. I asked them why would anyone want to may the debt if it is not going to positively or accurately be displayed on their credit. Here I am trying to pay my debt. I also tried asking them if they would be able to mail me a letter stating that upon receipt of payment, we will take off the debt collection. They would not do that. What do I do?????
