This complaint is being filed for the following reason : I owned a company named - - - - from -/-/- until -/-/-. During this time I had other persons operating and managing the company. At some time during their management they applied for and received an American Express Gold business card. I did not authorize or sign any documentation for the use of this credit card. They used this credit card to charge business related items for the business. To my knowledge there was neither personal use nor fraudulent activity with the credit card. After closing the business in -/-/- I was contacted by American Express and told that I owed them approximately $130000.00 for charges that were made by the company on the credit card. I explained to them that the credit card was not in my possession and I had not used it. American Express continued to insist that since I owned the business I was responsible for payment of the charges, I continued to insist that the credit card had never been in my possession and that I had not applied for it. Subsequently in - of - I received a notice that myself ( -


for the credit card since I had not ordered it nor used it. The case was dismissed and American Express was ordered to pay all court costs ( please see attached documentation of this dismissal ). That was - months ago and the real problem remains that American Express contacted the credit bureaus and reported to them that I still owed them $130000.00. I have always had very good credit but I do n't anymore because American Express has ruined it. I have reported this to them with no response. Please help, I thank you in advance. - -, KS -
