TD Bank Credit card department,
Identity theft / Fraud / Embezzlement New Jersey
I logged into my online banking account with TD Bank where I have a checking and savings account. I noticed there was also a credit card account attached to my accounts which I did not apply for. I called TD Bank and reported the credit card account. They transferred me to the credit card company where I closed the account. They then transferred me to the fraud department where I reported it. I was told by the credit card company that when I was at the bank on - -, in person, I applied for the account. I reported that though I was at the bank on - - I did not, nor did I authorized anyone to apply for an account.
