Netspend on behalf of - offers a Pre-Paid Savings account that offers a 5 % optional savings account that you get when you open a - Prepaid MasterCard. In -/-/2015 I reopened my card and deposited $2300.00 into my savings account. When I logged onto my - Prepaid App, the savings account showed an interest rate of 0.0 % for the statement quarter, violating the agreement that netspend included in their terms and conditions. I kept the amount for a month hoping it would change, however it still remained listed as 0 %. I then pulled my money out of it on -/-/2015. When I went to close my - Prepaid yesterday, I was told there was no interest to be paid out, again directly violating the legally binding agreement that I made with Netspend when I opened the - Prepaid Account.
