Medical Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine Massachusetts

I had hade a -, and a company - - remote services had sent me a - that would check my - once a month, I received notice the - was discontinuing this service and for me to send the equipment back to them, which I did. For the next few months I would get a phone call from - calling to check my -, I explained that I had returned the equipment at the request of the company. Evidently they were still billing - and of course they would not pay because they were not providing the service any longer. And - started trying to collect from me. I had explained that I no longer had the machine nor was there any service provided. But it fell on deaf ears. I filed the paperwork necessary to prove my claim several times, but to no avail. I am at my wits end as to how to make this collection claim go away. It is not a lot of money about $60.00 I think, but it is the principle od it I do not owe it. I have contacted the collection agency several times and they tell me that they can not provide me with the original bill, as - has gone out od business. I feel tat this is some sort of scam and I need your help to resolve it. Thank you,
