The company which placed negative information on my credit report is Stellar Recovery Inc. - - - - -, - -, -, MT - ) which is a collection agency on behalf of -. The original reporting on my credit apparently took place in - 2015 however I have not, previous to phone conversations that I initiated on my own behalf due to seeing the negative input on my credit report, received any type of notice via phone, email, or regular mail of this debt. I have since settled this debt directly with - in full however the negative remains on my credit report. It is my understanding that prior to the input on my credit report that this debt needed to be verified and I be given an opportunity to settle, pay outright or dispute the validity of this debt. I was never afforded this opportunity.
