- - aggressive debt collection became deceptive and dishonest. Resulting in incorrect negative credit report. - - deceptive collection activities allowed for a specified number of days to pay outstanding balance before sending the account to collections as per their billing statements. - did not honor their disclosures and pushed my account into collections, resulting in the incorrect information reported on my credit report. I requested my service to be disconnected for the reason of going with their competitor. - never closed my account and allowed it to run into disconnection for non payment. Once - was advised they were in error, they continued to treat my account as a non payment, and the amounts were not correct, and have not been given a clear amount due as of yet. - did send an adjustment amount, which I could not verify as valid. - never advised me the account was going to collections, - sent - letters for demand of payment, both were for the wrong amount. Clear violation of the FDCPA 15 USC 1692e at the least. The closing bill was never sent, the account was never corrected from disconnection for non payment to consumer request to close and a accurate closing bill sent. Instead - adjusts the erroneous inflated amount due to a lower amount and allows - days to pay, without notice they send it to collection and way before the - days were up as per their billing statement. - was paid within - days of receipt of the adjusted bill, which still is a questionable amount.
