Medical Taking/threatening an illegal action Threatened to sue on too old debt California

Medical billing failed to submit my doctors bill for -. They filed the bill for the hospital, ( witch was paid by my insurance. And did not claim for the Doctors bill, until after 12 months, which was refused by blue cross, for untimely filling. I call the my insurance, who txt me I was not responsible for this bill, even knowing this they put me in collections. The insurance, -, is sending me a letter, to explain it was the Doctors group, who is at fault but will not admit their mistake.
