Medical Communication tactics Frequent or repeated calls Virginia

Between the first and last weeks of -, Medical Revenue Service, - -, -, Florida - called my work phone ( - ) from - approximately - times. The specific dates I have noted for this - # are -/-/- at - -/-/- at -., - - at - and - - at -. However, I deleted the first - or - instances without making a record. In addition I received calls from - also associated with Medical Revenue Service at my work phone on -/-/- at -. and -/-/- at -. In no case did Medical Revenue Service identify their business name, nor the purpose of the calls. I did not actually receive any of the calls because they were either made after business hours or I was not actually in my office to receive calls ( I took off most of - on leave ). I have only figured out that these calls came from Medical Revenue Service because on -/-/- I received a bill from them dated -/-/-. The bill was originally for a date of service at - - Hospital from -/-/-. I have called - Hospital Billing, paid the bill, received a confirmation number from -, and - has informed me that they will notify Medical Revenue Service. I have separately filed a complaint against - for never sending me an original bill back in -/-/-. I had no idea that monies were owed until I received the collection letter. However, I want to file a complaint that Medical Revenue Service did not contact me appropriately. It is my understanding that collection agencies are not supposed to call places of employment. My message on my office phone clearly identifies the phone as a workplace phone.
