In 2011, when I was naive to internet scams, I tried to sell some of my old video games on -. The buyer sent me a check, asked me to cash it and then send the money to his carrier for him. This turned out to be a scam, the check bounced and the balance was deducted from my bank account. Key Bank closed the account as SUSPECTED FRAUD when the status was UNPAID. I proceeded to pay back the amount owed in full, but it still shows up on my report as SUSPECTED FRAUD and UNPAID due to the immediate closure of the account before I had a chance to pay it back.
