About - ago i had received and credit card application in the mail from - - for a promotional card that gives prime for life as an interest % a few years later the bank was bought by Chase Bank so i called Chase Bank and was going to close the account but was advised by Chase that they would honor the prime for life card, that was about - years ago.Now i find a charge for $98.00 bank fee. so i called them and was told that my chase freedom card now has that fee because of my prime for life. if you check their website will will see that the Freedom card has no annual fee. So it seems they targeted me because of my low interest rate they they gave me. Also how can they charge an fee for a card that they advertize with no fee. sounds like discrimination to me.
