Called and told my employer that they were calling on a legal matter. When I was passed the call, I was told by - - of ARA , Inc. that she was contacting me and my employer to notify them of a judgement against me in the county in which I live. First of all, she herself stated the debt was charged off - ( which is a lie ). Secondly, I have never been notified of any court proceedings because there have been none. I have received numerous threatening letters and harassing calls even after requesting they do not contact me at work again. That debt was 7-10 years old -/-/- and I have lived in Oregon for the last 12 years ( in - ). These people need to be dealt with. This abuse is not allowed by the Federal Government or any State in the United States
