I opened an account with CHASE in 2005, The card was paid in full and closed. I owed no money in the credit card before I closed it yet - - - has this account in collection with the full credit amount / total that was paid off. - - is egregiously Violated Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA '' ), the unfair collection practices by reporting on my credit report an account that was fully paid for before closing.The same account that is being reflected by the original creditor ( chase ) on my credit report as paid in full and balance as -, - a collection agency is reporting as i own a balance of -. The credit limit on that account was - and was paid off even before exceeding the limit.
