I began with a $1200.00 credit limit through Amazon.com courtesy of GE Capital Bank. That company then became Syncrony Bank. My credit limit was lowered to $830.00 in less than one year. I had had no difficulties with payment and in fact had paid it off. Recently, my credit limit was lowered to $650.00. I had no difficulties with payment yet again. Syncrony states that their company does a periodic credit review and adjusts according to their findings. This always has an immediate impact on my credit score because it changes the ratio due to me holding a balance. I believe this practice should be illegal.
