-, - - - -, - NY -Numerous repeat calls to my place of business and cell phone. When I called to inquire about the letter received, I was offered a debt settlement amount but it was a - time offer with a unrealistic date basically - days or if not I would be held responsible for the full amount with further legal action. The original debt holder Charged Off '' this account and I was told verbally by the original debt holder that the monthly payments I was making are volunteer on my behalf. Therefore I stopped making them a few months ago and now I 'm dealing again with another collector.
