Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt was paid Texas

I had an account in 2008 with - and before leaving I paid and return and necessary equipment and now they are saying I owe them a bill. I do not owe them when I left the company I had a zero balance and they waited until now to report this inaccurate information on my credit file.
