The Department of Social Services paid my - - - - when I was laid off. I have since moved and have been paying back the Dept. of Social Services for this. I received notice from Penn Credit collection agency in stating I owe - -. I sent them a certified signature required letter with copy of confirmation of Dept. of Social Services making payment and requested they remove from my credit report and to correct this information on their end. Rather than do that they again sent me only a request for payment, even though they signed the certified letter from me. I called and they started yelling I owe them money so I stated I was filing a complaint with CFPB
