In -/-/- My wife and I Went to PNC Bank to get a - Mortgage ( commonly known as a Home Equity Loan ). We thought we were getting a - Mortgage ( commonly known as a Home Equity Loan ), but we were given a Home Equity Installment Loan. In -/-/- I noticed that this loan was not functioning like a mortgage loan. Since -/-/- I have been trying to refinance this loan with PNC Bank but have been denied due to the decrease in our property value due to the housing bubble crisis. PNC advertised the loan as a Home Equity Loan, not a Home Equity Installment Loan.
