This debt '' results from fees incurred when I terminated my - - account upon moving to - pursuant to -. As an -, I invoked the protections of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act and provided - - with requested documentation at the time of termination. - assured me no termination fees would be charged. - assessed me the fees anyway, and I called them ( at - long distance rates ) to work things out. They apologized and refunded the $340.00. The next month, - again debited the $340.00 from my bank account, and I again called them ( - long distance ), receiving an apology and a refund. It appears - - has debited my account again, in addition to turning this alleged debt over to Valentine and Kebartas , Inc., a debt collector collection action. I am fed up with - - acting in blatant contravention of the SCRA, and I do not want to waste additional funds calling them - long distance to try and resolve the issue.
