Medical Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt was paid California

After a hospital stay on - my hospital bill was sent to my insurance and the remaining copay was sent to my address by - -, upon receiving this bill I payed my copay. On -/-/- I received a call from a debt collector ( CMRE ) stating that I did not pay a medical bill from - -. After contacting - blue cross they stated that - failed to properly bill my health insurance and also failed to correctly write down my address so I did not receive any bills in the mail or correspondence regarding this bill. I have contacted - - and asked for the bill and they refused to email me the bill and refused to help me in any way. They stated I must deal with the debt collector. I contacted the debt collector and they refused to acknowledge that I have full medical insurance through my employer. My health insurance has paid this medical and I am still receiving calls from the debt collection agency and this will adversely affect my credit and my ability to obtain a - I am currently in the process of obtaining. I would like - to immediately contact CMRE the debt collection agency to desist and remove any and all debt collections that may appear on my credit in regards to this medical bill. My Insurance has paid this claim and I should not be getting harassed by a debt collection agency because of mistakes made by - -.
