Old Navy Credit Card has been charging a monthly minimum payment lets say of $50.00 per month. Over the past year of payments of making no less than the minimum amount owed the balance for cash advances has increased $37.00. A portion of my minimum payment each month comes from these cash advances ( lets say $8.00 ) and when making the minimum monthly payment only ( $3.00 ) is being applied to that balance, hence the increase in the balance. This includes instances in which I have paid more than the minimum monthly payment on the account.
