I moved out from - - in - 2014. I received notice in - 2014 that I owed various items, which were illegal in the state of - to collect - such as re-painting the walls. I contested the charges with apartment complex. - months later I received notice From -, they simply sold the debt to a collections agency and did not call or work with me on my request for more info or to resolve. - became aggressive to collect despite requests to resolve. I hired an attorney who sent requests to - and to - to provide sufficient detail regarding what was being collected, and within the law, they had 30 days to respond. Neither party responded to the party within the allocated timeframe. As such, the debt is invalid due to lack of response from EITHER party. I have disputed this debt with - and provided information and they removed it - and - need to remove this debt as well, but refuse to because - continues to state this is a valid '' debt despite proof that we have attempted to resolve this in the legal forums.
