On - -, 2015, I made a - deposit on an Chase ATM machine located on - - - - in -, - a little before - pm. After I was asked to insert the bills, the machine took a long time to process the bill count and then gave me a receipt saying that the atm machine was currently unavailable and a number I should call to report the incident. The number was toll free ( - ) - to which I called immediately at - and then dialed again at -. When I talked to the representative, they told me that the machine would not return any money and that the amount of - dollars would be credited to my account. I did not think much of it and believed it to be a ATM error that had been resolved with this call. On - -, 2015 I noticed there was a reverse credit for this same amount and I contacted Chase Bank in - and they transferred me to the claims department. I talked to a representative that told me that when the machine was serviced they had not found any excess money in this machine and that they had also checked the surrounding ATM machines. To which I responded that I had told them the exact location and machine in which the deposit was made. He said they would open up the claim again and double check if they would find that money. I asked to talk to a senior specialist who did not disclose his full name ( - - in - - ), and pretty much told me that if I had in fact made that deposit, then it would have been found in the machine. I do not know what to do next, I will be going in and talking to my bank supervisor.
