Today I received a notice from myfico that a new collection has been added to my credit report from Portfolio Recovery Associates. I never received any documentation in the mail to validate this debt, or give me a right to dispute. I have no idea what this debt is for. This collection is damaging my chances of owning a home, and obtaining any other type of credit.
