GE Capital Retail Credit Card Complaint

GE Capital Retail Credit card department,

This has to do with a TJ Maxx credit card account. I had made a purchase on the card, then paid my monthly bill, mailing it. The next time I got a bill ( today ) it did not reflect that had sent them a payment. So I immediately called customer service. I had to try - times to get through on the phone, the system kept dropping me into a voicemail box. I then talked to - different people- someone in customer service, then transferred to payments, then back to customer service, then to collections, then to customer service. Except for the last person, all of the representatives were telling me I could get - ( - ) late charges deducted from my bill, and this was the reason they were supposedly transferring me, but they seemed to have some kind of difficulties with their system, or their screen, or some other excuse- during - interaction I heard laughing in the background when talking to the male customer service rep, after I stated I could not understand what he was saying due to his accent. I had already agreed to pay the bill, provided the late charges were deducted

The minute they accepted my payment ( and no transaction number was given ), I was then told by the 'collections ' representative that they would only deduct - fee, and that I still had $35.00 showing on my account, which was a bait and switch. Most of the people I was talking to struggled to speak - ... I then wanted to pay the bill in full because I felt these people were very dishonest- and they refused to take my payment for the remainder of the balance! The last representative was quite rude, told me my account was 'delinquent and already cancelled due to nonpayment ' which is not stated on my bill, and not stated by anyone else on the call to me. Also this company is charging a - interest rate! How is that not usury? The company managing the TJMA- credit account is - Bank.
